Well I don't critique much; never really done it before, but here I go.
I really like the design of your character. She's adorable. I do notice the pencil's led and colors can smudge into each other. Maybe try outlining the sketch with a black marker, inking pen, or use same color markers or pencils to outline and create a "lineless" effect. The coloring is flat and not very bright, and it looks as if you don't spend much time on it. Perhaps you could color in a bit darker or put a little more time into it to make sure you don't leave some places uncolored; adding shading is recommended to give it a bit more.... how would I say this... "depth." As for the first sketch, try not to make the markings with the pencil so dark because you are going to need to erase them later for coloring, if you do color the picture that is. Make sure to erase any smudges so the picture looks cleaner.
Also, I like the shadowing effect you did on the ice. It convinces me that she is really standing on an ice rink.
